AI Match connects you with the right collaborators, funding, and events in NRW by reading your AI Graph and project needs.
You have an idea for a new project, and you already know the hard part is not the idea. It is everything around it. Who could help you make it? Which funding programme in North Rhine-Westphalia would take it? Which event this month is worth an evening, and which course would teach you the one thing you are missing?
The information exists; there is just too much of it. AI Match, now in development, is the matching tool of Creative AI Mastermind. Instead of you searching for days, it puts the right opportunities and collaborators in front of you, for your combination of skills and goals.
Using it will be simple. You map your skills in the AI Graph, with the Select tool or an AI interview that asks about one recent piece of your work, one angle at a time. Then you tell AI Match about your project. It reads both and gives you a list of recommendations, each with a plain-language reason why it fits.
Underneath, it reads what is already on the platform: the AI Radar for events, courses and funding calls, AI Funding for programmes, and the AI Collective for projects and for members who opted in. AI Funding maps programmes such as the games and immersive content funding of the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, media art funding from the NRW Ministry of Culture and Science, the Twin Transition Fonds of KölnBusiness and the EU's Creative Europe MEDIA calls, which the Creative Europe Desk NRW advises on.
A language model picks and ranks those real items. Each reason has to name a skill or project need it relates to, may not state a number that is missing from the item's data, and everything the model writes is marked as written by AI.
From the development side, late September was about proving the data. A source check ran on real pages for the first time: a Radar record only counts as active if its own source page still shows its title and date. For funding, reviewed rules, not a language model, decide whether there may be a fit, and AI Match never tells you that you are eligible. Matching with other people is opt-in, and no names are shown until both of you say yes.
AI Match is not open to members yet. When it opens, a week of searching becomes one conversation. The best test of an idea like this is a real room, so that is where I am going next: the MediaTech Hub Conference and the MediaTech SPRINT in Potsdam-Babelsberg, this week.
The short version
- —AI Match connects your AI Graph and project details with verified events, funding, and collaborators
- —Every recommendation comes with a plain-language reason explaining exactly why it fits your project
- —A language model writes the matching sentences, but reviewed rules—not AI—decide funding fit
- —Matching with other people is completely opt-in, and no names are shown until both parties say yes
- —The tool is in development and not yet open to members
