Javier Amaya selected as one of 20 co-creators for the MediaTech SPRINT 2026

MediaTech SPRINT 2026 co-creator announcement with Javier Amaya — 30 September to 1 October, Potsdam-Babelsberg

Four European audiovisual companies bring their business challenges to Babelsberg. The initiator of Creative AI Mastermind is at the table.

Javier Amaya, initiator of Creative AI Mastermind and founder of Rapid Stories AI, has been selected as one of 20 interdisciplinary experts joining the MediaTech SPRINT 2026 as co-creator. The one-day innovation workshop takes place on 1 October in Potsdam-Babelsberg, with a warm-up on 30 September — the eighth edition of a format run by the Creative Europe Desks together with the MediaTech Hub Conference Potsdam.

The format is deliberately concentrated. Four European audiovisual companies — the challenge owners — each bring one specific business challenge, and the 20 co-creators, selected across Europe for their range of disciplines, spend the day developing solution strategies with them. Juliane Schulze, international consultant for the cultural and creative industries, moderates. Co-creators also receive a ticket to the MediaTech Hub Conference in Babelsberg on 29 and 30 September.

The four challenge owners were selected in early July with the help of the European Creative Europe Desks. Arkino from France, founded by François Morisset, is building a global database for film heritage that connects programmers and rights holders. Festival Bez from the Czech Republic, led by Kateřina Malečková, creates teaching materials for documentary film with the help of AI. Live Animation Studio from Germany, with Gordon Vogel, is developing a tool for a new animation workflow with transmedia integration. And Localmeta from Italy, founded by Mattia Fiumani and Lida Zvereva, runs a 360° platform that connects local location knowledge with international audiovisual productions.

The selection reflects Javier’s work across the creative industries: generative and agentic AI, content systems, communication technologies — and Creative AI Mastermind, his most recent project. His thanks went to Julian Kinghorst and the Creative Europe Desks Deutschland.
